Auburn Crest Hospice is looking for a Triage Nurse (RN or LPN) who is excited to positively impact the lives of others during one of the most delicate times. LPN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Triage Nurse you will be responsible for the overall coordination and communication within our team of professionals. The Nurse will work from our office answering phone calls from families, caregivers and facilities, and addressing their needs appropriately. The Triage nurse works closely with primary RN case managers to prioritize visit needs and order supplies, medications and DME. Other responsibilities of this position can include processing incoming referrals, problem solving over the phone, providing education to families and caregivers, in-putting medications to patient charts, faxing orders to facilities and preparing IDT notes for RN case managers.
RN REQUIREMENTS:
- Current LPN or RN license to practice in Idaho
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience is preferred. Experience in hospice is also preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Schedule flexibility and local travel required
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must have valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
