As a Service & Installation Technician, you’ll play a key role on our team, working directly with our Vice President and collaborating with both Sales and Operations. Your day-to-day work will include installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire, security, card access, and video surveillance systems for residential and small commercial customers.

This is a hands-on, field-focused role that involves daily travel across Pennsylvania—primarily between Harrisburg and Philadelphia. Most projects are local, and you’ll be supported every step of the way with the tools, training, and resources you need to succeed.

• Company-issued laptop, tablet, and cell phone
• All required tools and comprehensive training

Who You Are

You’re a motivated, solutions-driven professional with a passion for fire, security, access control, and video camera systems. You take pride in your work, thrive in the field, and deliver exceptional customer service. You’re committed to growing your skills through continuous learning in the life safety industry.

• Interpret blueprints and floor plans
• Install and wire fire, burglar, access control, and video systems
• Program and test system components
• Complete system certifications using SAH, Inc. and industry-standard forms
• Document work progress, parts used, and service details using a web-based platform
  
• Deliver outstanding customer service, including on-site training and support
  
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and a tidy company vehicle
  
• Troubleshoot and repair systems efficiently
  
• Respond to service calls involving intrusion, access control, and video surveillance
  
• Ensure all documentation meets company and customer requirements
  

• Ideally based in Berks County or surrounding areas
• Primarily working from our corporate office in Shillington, PA
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
