As a key voice representing the brand, you will interact directly with users, address technical questions, and foster trust within highly engaged communities. Sitting at the crossroads of social media, customer experience, and public relations, you will play a critical role in both proactive communication and real-time issue management. The position requires strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, public conversations with clarity and empathy. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to translate complex topics into accessible messaging while surfacing insights that drive strategic improvements. This is a highly visible role with meaningful impact on brand perception and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:
  • Engage actively with online communities, particularly discussion-based platforms, to build relationships, answer questions, and enhance brand reputation
  • Support customer acquisition and retention by delivering authentic, helpful, and technically accurate responses
  • Monitor conversations, identify trends and sentiment shifts, and share actionable insights with internal teams
  • Act as a frontline responder during incidents, outages, or reputational challenges, ensuring timely and appropriate communication
  • Collaborate with PR, Legal, Customer Care, and technical teams to manage sensitive issues and coordinate messaging
  • Triage community-reported issues, ensuring proper tracking, escalation, and resolution in partnership with support teams
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear, user-friendly language for diverse audiences
  • Use social media tools and platforms to publish content, monitor engagement, and report on performance metrics
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, communication strategies, and customer experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media and online community management
  • Proven experience managing large-scale communities on platforms like Reddit or similar discussion forums
  • Strong understanding of broadband, fiber internet, ISP operations, or related technical industries
  • Demonstrated ability to handle crisis communications, incident response, and public-facing issue management
  • Excellent written communication skills with a clear, empathetic, and professional tone
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage credibly with knowledgeable users
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, customer care, and technical teams
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr) and social listening practices is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and organization
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings or weekends when needed
