This role offers an opportunity to lead regional quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will partner with plant quality teams, operations leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent quality standards, resolve complex issues, and implement best practices. The position emphasizes strategic project leadership, root cause problem solving, and the standardization of quality processes across the region. Candidates in this role will influence production practices, support trials and qualifications, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and customer experience. A strong foundation in high-speed manufacturing, effective communication, and Lean methodologies will be critical to success. This role also requires travel to regional plants, supporting both operational oversight and stakeholder engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead regional quality initiatives and ensure execution of key quality pillars through operational excellence frameworks
  • Standardize quality testing, reporting methods, and trial processes across assigned production plants to align with business and customer requirements
  • Facilitate collaboration between plant quality teams, Customer Technical Services, commercial and supply chain teams, and external customers
  • Drive consistent problem-solving practices and process improvements to enhance regional and plant-level quality performance
  • Oversee evaluation and qualification of new materials and products, including line trials, internal approvals, and customer approvals
  • Support regional quality accountability, maintaining documentation standards and adherence to quality metrics
  • Manage strategic, complex, and divisional quality improvement projects with measurable impact on the business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in engineering, quality, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing, packaging, or beverage can production
  • Strong problem-solving skills, preferably using Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 8D
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Preferred: experience with Lean/Continuous Improvement projects and proficiency in Spanish or French
