Bridge House is a small stabilization and assessment residential program for adults struggling with mental health illness. We are located in Farmington, Utah. Visit www.bridgehousehealth.com for more information about us. We are looking for a Certified Lifeguard to join our team. Pay is $50 per 1-2 hour swim session. We will have one session per day, which can be shared between two people or covered by one individual. Hours will vary including mornings, evening, and weekends.

MONDAY 9:30-10:30am
TUESDAY 9:30-10:30am
WEDNESDAY 5:00-6:30pm
THURSDAY 9:30-10:30am
FRIDAY 7:00-8:00pm
SATURDAY 2:00-3:30pm
SUNDAY 3:30-5:30pm

Primary Responsibilities
Certified lifeguard for a small, residential treatment pool in Farmington.

Job Duties
• Maintains constant surveillance of residents in the pool area; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of residents in the event of emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• CPR Certified; Current certification as Lifeguard by a recognized source of training. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the department.
• Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
• Must pass a state required background check.
