Position Overview

We are seeking a Web & Systems Developer to design, develop, and sustain modern web applications, digital platforms, and automation solutions for USAFCoE internal and external websites, portals, and digital assets (WPDAP) at Fort Sill, OK.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites using HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, DHTML, and related technologies.
  • Perform graphical design, site planning, and layout for web applications and content.
  • Build and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, web parts, permissions, workflows, and lists/libraries.
  • Develop content integrating blogs, RSS/News feeds, audio/video, and social networking services/APIs.
  • Build automation, dashboards, and apps using MS 365, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and PowerQuery.
  • Use Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Git, GitHub, VS Code, and Xcode for development and CI/CD.
  • Analyze and assess existing and emerging technologies and recommend upgrades and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and EIT Accessibility Standards; review sites for policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and implement links to other DoD websites in accordance with DoD and Army G-6 standards.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, administration, and enhancement of web-based services.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; OR 5+ years of web and systems development experience.
  • Experience with MS 365, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Xcode, VS Code, PowerQuery.
  • Experience with AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and bot creation.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) or similar tools.
  • Strong experience in web development and webmaster support (design, layout, maintenance).
  • Familiarity with Section 508 and EIT accessibility requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (including work within classified WPDAP).

Required Technical Skills

Languages/technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, Java, JavaScript, JSON, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Swift, AJAX, Bootstrap, JQuery, SASS, PySpark, TypeScript.

CMS/frameworks: Joomla!, WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Concrete5.

Tools: Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps.
