Family Law Paralegal at The Grey Legal Group, APC – Murrieta, California

$32 - $35 hourly

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, to support our attorneys.
• Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible for efficient case handling.
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide attorneys with relevant case law and statutes.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate smooth case progression.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings by organizing exhibits and evidence.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and identify potential legal issues early on in the process.

• You must love computers, technology, or learning new things that will make their jobs easier. If you aren’t confident in your tech skills and ability to learn, you are not the right person for this job.
• You MUST be competent and proficient in the use of Word, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• You must be comfortable working with a paperless file.
• You MUST be able to navigate the web like Magellan. You must be able to handle working with several different databases of information and be comfortable organizing data.
• You enjoy spotting problems and coming up with creative solutions.
• If you are familiar with legal case management software, CRM programs, Xspouse, and/or CEB, that is a plus.
