This role is designed for a seasoned PM who can step into an in‑flight program mid‑stream, stabilize delivery, and maintain momentum during a leadership transition.

This is not a general IT Project Manager role. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within security‑focused domains, partnering closely with technical teams, and managing initiatives that span cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application security.

Engagement Type: Full‑time, dedicated PM
Duration: 5–6 months (transition coverage)
Start Timing: Within ~30 days
Work Model: Primarily remote
Travel: Limited, estimated ≤25%, with travel primarily to Taunton, MA and Hilton Head, SC

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide end‑to‑end project management leadership for cybersecurity initiatives, from execution through delivery
  • Own and maintain project plans, schedules, task dependencies, and milestones across multiple concurrent efforts
  • Coordinate activities across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application security workstreams
  • Drive day‑to‑day execution, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Produce clear, concise status reporting and executive‑level updates, including PowerPoint briefings and written deliverables
  • Act as the primary point of accountability, ensuring projects remain aligned with delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to technical teams, leadership, and client stakeholders
  • Operate independently, exercising sound judgment while maintaining alignment with broader program objectives
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives
  • Proven experience managing multiple large, complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong core project management capabilities, including:
    • Project plans and integrated schedules
    • Task and dependency management
    • Risk and issue tracking
    • Executive‑level status reporting
    • PowerPoint‑based briefings and professional written deliverables
  • Cybersecurity fluency required, including exposure to:
    • Cybersecurity programs
    • Infrastructure security initiatives
    • Application security efforts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams without requiring hands‑on engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active PMP Certification
  • Practical, real‑world experience delivering outcomes in complex environments is valued more than formal credentials
