What you can expect as a Financial Systems & Reporting Assurance Manager:
- Own the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of system‑generated financial reports supporting daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Serve as the primary finance subject matter expert for reporting logic, accounting impacts, and financial functionality within the Guidewire Insurance Suite.
- Assess and safeguard the financial reporting impact of system changes to ensure compliance with established accounting standards and financial controls.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing of financial reports in support of system releases, state expansions, new product launches, and remediation of reporting issues.
- Analyze system enhancements and business process changes to identify downstream impacts to financial reporting and controls.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, results, issue tracking, and remediation evidence.
- Participate in cross‑functional working sessions to design report enhancements and define new financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Business Intelligence teams to investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve testing efficiency, strengthen controls, and standardize financial reporting processes.
- Support ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives related to financial systems and reporting, as assigned.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for as a Financial Systems & Reporting Assurance Manager:
- BS or MS in Accounting or Finance
- 5 - 10 years of prior related experience.
- Enterprise and accounting information systems experience preferred.
- Guidewire experience preferred.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a self-starter attitude are necessary.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively on tasks with competing priority.
- Experience working in dynamic and team environment
- Fast learner with Interpersonal skills to develop relationship between the business and the system to enhance the appropriate flow of information.
