This role is a senior sales leadership position focused on driving enterprise growth within the healthcare payer technology and services market. You will lead and scale a high-performing field sales organization responsible for selling complex payment accuracy solutions to large health plans across the United States. The position requires deep expertise in consultative, C-level selling within health insurance organizations, combined with strong leadership capabilities to build, coach, and motivate high-performing teams. You will define go-to-market strategies, oversee pipeline development, and ensure consistent achievement of multi-million-dollar revenue targets. Working in a highly matrixed environment, you will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and business units to shape value propositions and accelerate market adoption. This is a high-impact executive role where strategic leadership and hands-on deal execution directly influence revenue growth and market expansion.
Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing field sales organization focused on enterprise health plan clients, ensuring consistent achievement of aggressive revenue and booking targets across new and existing accounts.
- Drive end-to-end sales execution for complex healthcare payment accuracy solutions, including claim editing, fraud detection, data mining, and related services.
- Define and execute market development strategies, including territory planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite executives, SVPs, procurement leaders, and key decision-makers within health plans.
- Oversee sales performance management, including goal setting, coaching, hiring, talent development, and accountability frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and business units to launch new offerings and strengthen value propositions in the market.
- Ensure disciplined CRM usage, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility across the sales organization.
- Lead strategic deals directly when needed to support team success and close high-value opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise software or services sales, with a strong hunter mindset and proven quota achievement.
- 5+ years of experience selling into health plans, with deep understanding of payer organizations and decision-making structures.
- 3+ years of experience leading field sales teams (5–7+ reps), including hiring, coaching, and performance management responsibilities.
- Strong track record of closing large, complex deals with contract values ranging from hundreds of thousands to multi-million-dollar agreements.
- Extensive experience engaging C-level executives and senior stakeholders within healthcare payer organizations.
- Strong knowledge of payment integrity solutions, including fraud, waste and abuse detection, claims editing, and related healthcare technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic selling skills, with the ability to operate in complex, long sales cycles.
- Base salary range: 165,000 – 210,000 USD plus commission eligibility
