About this Opportunity:

The Production Manager will be responsibilities for leading and daily management of the manufacturing direct labor team. This will include managing scheduling and planning activities to achieve production efficiency, quality, and delivery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
  • Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing all manufacturing direct labor to achieve operations goals.
  • Establish, communicate, and implement operational standards for throughput, cost control, waste reduction, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Coach direct reports to develop skillsets and continually improving efficiency in their areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with cross-functionally departments to include Set Up/Programing, Quality, Engineering, and Materials.
  • Manage the planning of machine schedules while working closely with Set Up/Programing Team to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor and report department and employee performance against production goals.
  • Manage talent through employee engagement activities, training, and succession planning.
  • Implement “Lean Manufacturing” practices within Operations.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 /13485
Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 7+ Years of leadership experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Process
  • 5 + Years Regulatory and Quality Systems experience
  • Project Management and execution to timelines

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, bending, reaching and walking.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 + years’ experience in medical device manufacturing environment and/or combination of education and applicable experience.
