IT Operations Architect at Circular Action Alliance – Remote

Role Overview

As part of the Circular Action Alliance IT Infrastructure team, you will help improve our IT infrastructure environments, including storage, backup, DNS, identity management, network, and virtual infrastructure architectures. You will work with leaders across the company to design architectures and select products. You will also have the chance to implement solutions. In this role, you are expected to be a proactive thinker, always looking for ways to improve security, automation, and processes. You will join a talented team supporting the overall global infrastructure architecture and the transition into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of M365 Services: Exchange, SharePoint, Endpoint Management, OneDrive, Teams
• Working knowledge of Azure Services and Integrations
• User Administration (Entra, Azure)
• Daily Monitoring and Alert Responses
• Assess the existing environment to identify improvements
• Evaluate new technologies and trends to make recommendations on how they can be implemented to impact the company positively
• Design solutions and lead staff in the implementation of the designs through mentorship and guidance
• Provide a bridge between technical staff and business leadership
• Increase efficiency within the IT department through streamlining and automating processes
• Provide technical direction on system implementations
• Drive plans for the integration of new infrastructure systems
• Drive virtual infrastructure design and implementation
• Document framework for cloud services
• Ensure infrastructure designs incorporate a security-first approach
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of server, network, and cloud architectures
• Working knowledge of: (Microsoft M365, Microsoft Exchange Online, Entra, M365 Security and Compliance Features, Multi Factor Authentication, Single sign-on, Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune), Cloud
• Experience working in a global organization
• Experience with large-scale implementations and integrations of corporate IT systems
• Experience with Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BCDR) practices
• Experience with environments leveraging cloud components in Azure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and/or managing enterprise IT systems
• 5+ years in administering the M365/Azure infrastructure in medium to large enterprise environments
• 3+ years of experience in managing IT projects
• MS Certifications welcome

Compensation & Other Information

• Location: Initially Fully Remote with potential for in-person
• Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and experience.
• Reports To: Director of IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security
