Dealer Trade Clerk at Ressler Motor Group – Bozeman, Montana

POSITION SUMMARY: Dealer Trade Clerk is primarily responsible for all incoming and outgoing dealer trades and cash reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Processes incoming and outgoing dealer trades.

· Verifies costs for the Accounting Department including costs of equipment add-ons.

· Prepares MSOs, documentation, and payment.

· Verifies that funds have been collected for outgoing dealer trades and ensure that MSOs have been received for incoming vehicles.

· Monitor and maintain accurate dealer trade inventory accounts.

· Process all TRAC invoices and payments.

· Process all wholesales.

· Reconcile daily cashier deposits and maintain accurate cash clearing schedules.

· Following and making improvements to the cash handling procedure.

· Reconcile daily Toyota, GM, Quick Lube, and Body Shop deposits.

· Ensure cash procedures are being followed.

· Notify management immediately of any discrepancies in cash in hand.

· Maintain all schedules assigned.

· Follow procedures and policies set forth by management, the Employee Handbook and the Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy.

· Keep a neat and orderly work station.

· Be willing to perform necessary tasks outside of normally assigned duties and responsibilities to help the GM Office operate productively and efficiently.

· Any other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

One year of office experience preferred
