Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Technician to oversee the safety and quality of our dumpling production. You will be responsible for inspecting raw ingredients, monitoring the production process, and testing finished products to ensure they meet our high standards and food safety regulations.

We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Technician to oversee the safety and quality of our dumpling production. You will be responsible for inspecting raw ingredients, monitoring the production process, and testing finished products to ensure they meet our high standards and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Line Inspections: Conduct regular checks on the production line to monitor dough thickness, filling weights, and pleat integrity.
- Food Safety (HACCP): Monitor and record critical control points, such as internal meat temperatures and metal detector checks.
- Sanitation Oversight: Verify that machines and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized before production begins (Pre-op inspection).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs for temperature, batch tracking, and quality deviations. Ensure we are "audit-ready" at all times.
- Raw Material Check: Inspect incoming ingredients for freshness and quality; manage the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) rotation.
- Product Sampling: Perform sensory testing (taste, texture, smell) on cooked samples from each batch.
- Experience: 1–2 years in Food Quality Control or a similar role in a commercial kitchen/manufacturing environment.
- Certifications: Basic understanding of HACCP or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred. Training can be provided on the job.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small inconsistencies in product appearance or paperwork.
- Communication: Must be able to firmly but professionally tell the production team to stop or adjust if a product isn't up to standard.
- Bilingual: Spanish is a major plus but not required.
- Hourly Pay: $22 - $25
