About the Role:
The Timekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of employee hours and attendance. This position is responsible for maintaining meticulous records that contribute to payroll processing and compliance with labor regulations. The Timekeeper will collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely submissions of time-related data. By implementing efficient filing systems and utilizing Microsoft Office Excel, the Timekeeper will enhance the overall productivity of the organization. Ultimately, this role supports the company's operational efficiency and employee satisfaction through precise time management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a timekeeping or administrative role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll systems or software.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and maintain employee time and attendance data.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Excel to create and update spreadsheets for tracking hours worked.
- Implement and manage filing systems to ensure easy access to timekeeping records.
