Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Construction Manager to lead field teams and oversee all aspects of commercial roofing projects. This role is responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and material management to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and proven experience managing crews in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage day-to-day commercial roofing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

· Oversee field personnel, foremen, and subcontractors, including scheduling, production goals, and performance management

· Review estimates and construction drawings for accuracy, constructability, and planning

· Coordinate project schedules, inspections, testing, and crane/delivery logistics

· Manage materials and equipment by ordering, tracking, securing long-lead items, and ensuring all jobs are properly stocked to maintain uninterrupted workflow

· Monitor job progress, quality control, safety compliance, and productivity across all active projects

· Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and timesheets

· Collaborate with clients, property managers, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth job flow

· Recruit, schedule, and evaluate employees while maintaining strong crew morale

· Enforce company policies, safety programs, and quality standards throughout all phases of construction

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required 

Education

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing construction management experience
  • Must have experience managing employees

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
  • Successful Background Check
  • Excellent communication, presentation and follow up skills required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Participate in local community, non-profit, or governmental activities/organizations for both company business development and personal improvement.
