SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Engineer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description: SEACORP is seeking a Systems Engineer to perform integration of instructional computer-based training curriculum content within modern architecture. This will include configuration and management of a development environment utilized by a small group of developers compatible with target systems and adhering to cybersecurity requirements. Integration will be performed with a balanced approach to increase modularity and flexibility for deploying products, while meeting schedule and performance requirements.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
- Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
- Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.
- Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of containers, container management, virtualization architectures and networking within Linux and Windows Operating systems. While not developing software, candidates will require knowledge of services used by software components and the overall software architecture in order to successfully integrate, package and deploy containerized applications.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
