Consultant Cardiac Anesthesia & ICU – Libya

Location: Misrata – Premium Private Heart Center / University Hospital

Contract: 2 years renewable

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for adult & pediatric cardiac surgeries (CABG, valve, congenital, TAVI, ECMO).

• TEE certification mandatory (intra-operative TEE).

• Manage post-op Cardiac ICU: ventilation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT.

• Run pre-anesthesia clinic and cardiac ER cases.

• Lead cardiac arrest team and perfusion coordination.

• Teaching and training of residents.

Requirements

• MD + DM/Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (India, Egypt, Europe)

• minimum 5–10 years post-qualification experience in high-volume cardiac center (>300 open heart cases/year).

• Valid TEE certification (EACVI or NBE).

• Current DHA/MOH/DOH license holders = fastest processing.

• Arabic speaker = strong advantage.

• Age <55 years.
