Banquet Houseperson at OTO Development – South San Francisco, California

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Banquet Houseperson.

What will you be doing most days?

• Working safely by wearing provided brand-standard uniform, identification, recommended footwear, and protective equipment such as gloves
• Collecting and removing trash as needed during banquet events.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas to include the carpets, walls, walks, windows, and heating/air conditioning units, etc.
• Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and organized manner stocked with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for meetings or food service functions.
• Help breakdown after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Assisting facility maintenance personnel as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment

• You have the perseverance to complete work efficiently with attention to quality and detail
• You can deliver a clean, organized, and refreshed hotel banquet area
• You will perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Physical Requirements for this Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.

Pay Scale: $16.22 - $22.85/hour
