Role Summary
The Automotive Quality / Manufacturing Shift Team Leader leads daily quality and operational activities while supervising a team of 6–12 associates. This role owns shift execution, quality documentation, team scheduling, and coordination of inspected material shipments to customer locations.

The Automotive Quality / Manufacturing Shift Team Leader leads daily quality and operational activities while supervising a team of 6–12 associates. This role owns shift execution, quality documentation, team scheduling, and coordination of inspected material shipments to customer locations.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Advanced computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience leading 6–12 team members
- Forklift license and hands-on forklift experience
- Excellent attention to detail with daily tracking of quality records, inventory, and materials
- Strong communication, collaboration, and employee relations skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Full ownership of digital documentation and record management
Required Experience
- Maintaining and tracking quality documentation on a daily basis
- Interpreting quality requirements and converting them into task-based schedules
- Supervising daily work objectives and team performance
- Collecting and maintaining customer work instructions and communicating them to the team
- Coordinating shipping of inspected and approved materials to customer locations
