- Own, oversee and direct the full accounting function and all related activities.
- Manage general accounting tasks including monthly close, AR/AP, payroll, and revenue cycle management.
- Document accounting procedures and implement necessary system changes.
- Support the development and maintenance of robust accounting systems and controls.
- Plan and execute annual financial statement audit in collaboration with stakeholders and auditors.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns in partnership with tax firm.
- Adhere to compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Lead monthly budget vs actual reconciliations by department.
- Oversee treasury, cash management, and manage banking relations.
- Collaborate with HR on payroll and employee benefits management.
- Bachelors Degree with at least 7 years of corporate accounting or controller experience.
- Minimum of 5 years leading accounting and finance teams through significant growth.
- CPA certification required; public accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in direct-to-consumer healthcare companies and high-growth startups.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and corporate practice of medicine structures.
- Expertise in GAAP and financial statement analysis and reporting.
- Proven leadership and business partnership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Organizational and multitasking prowess for timely deliverables.
- Experience with financial platforms like NetSuite, Stripe, Carta, Ramp.
- Attractive salary range of $170,000 - $180,000.
