Are you energetic, ambitious and looking to develop your career? Our Johannesburg Study Abroad department is looking to add an Admissions Assistant to their team. This department provides student placement services to universities in Australia, Canada, the USA, the UK, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Cyprus, Sweden and Mauritius. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.
In this role, you will support the Study Adviser team with the day-to-day operations of the admissions process. You’ll play a key part in reviewing student applications, ensuring compliance with university partner requirements, and maintaining high levels of customer service throughout. If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding environment where business goals are achieved and teamwork is celebrated, we’d love to hear from you.You’re perfect for this position if you:Have relevant industry experiencePreferably have a degree or diplomaHave excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsCan engage professionally with international clients and university partnersCan take initiative, be self-motivated and proactiveHave outstanding administrative and organisational skillsAre structured and methodical in your approach to tasks with a high attention to detailHave experience using MS Excel, Word and OutlookYour role and responsibilities:Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:Managing groups of universities and partner channels or individual clients and developing each client relationshipManaging inbound client enquiries and communication, both online and telephonicallySupporting the team with administrative activities around applications and visa processingActing as a primary knowledge source for study and visa application process and supporting students through this processEvaluating applications and assessing documentationCreating and managing client records via our CRM systemArranging and attending regular client meetings when requiredEnsuring document retention responsibilities are complied with and maintain accurate and up to date client data on CRM systemAssisting with the selection of country and universityManaging existing partner agents
