This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and scale the systems that power route planning, optimization, and real-time fleet tracking across logistics, delivery, and field service operations. The Senior Software Engineer will work on distributed systems supporting dispatch, navigation, and operational efficiency, contributing to tools used daily by dispatchers and fleet managers. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver reliable backend services, web interfaces, and APIs that process geospatial and real-time data at scale. This position emphasizes building high-performance, user-focused solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Candidates will have the chance to directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction while working in a collaborative and flexible setting. Remote work options are available within the US.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that manage hundreds of thousands of routes in real time
• Create web interfaces for dispatchers and fleet managers to plan, optimize, and track routes efficiently
• Implement APIs and integrations with third-party systems to process high volumes of route and vehicle data
• Develop features that incorporate real-time data such as traffic, weather, and hours-of-service into route optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, mobile, and design to deliver high-quality, reliable features
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong programming fundamentals
• Experience designing and architecting high-scale, distributed systems
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver on project milestones within a team
• Experience or interest in routing, dispatch, or navigation systems is a plus
• Located in the United States
