This role offers the chance to serve as a trusted technical partner for mid-market and enterprise customers, translating complex cybersecurity solutions into clear business value. You will work closely with account executives to guide prospects through discovery, technical validation, and proof-of-value engagements, ensuring solutions meet their security and compliance needs. The position emphasizes relationship-building, technical expertise, and solution-driven collaboration across internal teams. You’ll help customers understand how security tools reduce risk, improve operational efficiency, and align with their strategic priorities. Your work will directly influence pipeline progression, win rates, and the overall success of cybersecurity initiatives for growing organizations.
- Act as a technical partner in mid-market and enterprise sales opportunities, guiding solution positioning and validation.
- Lead discovery sessions with prospective customers to assess infrastructure, security maturity, and risk priorities.
- Deliver tailored demos and proof-of-value engagements that connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
- Maintain continuity with key accounts, tracking evolving needs, reinforcing value, and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business value for both technical and executive audiences.
- Own technical strategy within deals, navigating objections, competitive positioning, and client concerns.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to inform roadmap and positioning.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
- Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise accounts with both technical depth and executive interaction.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including vulnerability management, identity, cloud, and network security.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Experience running structured PoVs and managing technical validation cycles.
- Excellent collaboration skills and comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth, remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
