The Opportunity

You will serve as the strategic engine of our company, overseeing the entire lifecycle of our underground utility projects from initial estimate to final completion. This critical leadership role gives you the autonomy to manage multi-million dollar assets and high-performing crews while directly influencing our regional expansion. You will make a lasting impact by optimizing our operational efficiency and ensuring we remain the go-to contractor in the tri-county area.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Direct daily operations to ensure all projects exceed quality, timeline, and safety standards.

  • Orchestrate crew schedules and project follow-ups to maintain a seamless workflow across all sites.

  • Supervise yard operations and equipment maintenance to guarantee all assets are in peak condition.

  • Transform blueprints into precise project estimates and material quotes to secure profitable contracts.

  • Negotiate high-stakes contracts with developers and vendors to maximize project margins and value.

  • Mentor field and office staff to foster a culture of professional excellence and high performance.

  • Resolve complex on-site logistical challenges and "put out fires" to keep projects on track.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven background in operations management within the underground utilities or construction industry.

  • Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and preparing comprehensive project estimates.

  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, assets, and budgets simultaneously.

  • High level of adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset for handling fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment and material logistics specific to Florida utility work.

  • Prior experience managing multi-site operations in a high-growth construction firm.
