Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
- Handson experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting hardware in lab or project environments (for example: subsystem fabrication, power/thermal systems, or structural components)
- Ability to work effectively on small engineering teams and contribute to design, analysis, and technical documentation efforts
- Familiarity with data analysis or scripting tools such as R, MATLAB, or Python (basic)
- Comfort working in fastpaced or highpressure environments, supported by prior research and emergencydepartment experience
- Strong communication skills developed through technical writing, collaborative software platforms, customerfacing roles, and research documentation
- Experience using engineering tools such as SolidWorks, COMSOL, MATLAB, Arduino, or similar modeling and analysis software
- Exposure to systemlevel engineering through academic design projects, including satellite design, subsystem integration, or environmental testing work

USD $77,843.00 - USD $86,358.00 /Yr.
