Kitchen & Bath Showroom Sales Consultant

Position Purpose:
To deliver professional, consultative sales experience for customers purchasing kitchen and bath products, both in person and by phone. This role supports customers with product selection, pricing, and purchasing decisions while representing the showroom as a knowledgeable and reliable resource for homeowners and trade professionals. This is a full-time position based at our Stamford, CT showroom at 92 Research Drive.
Essential Functions:
- Assist homeowners with the selection and purchase of kitchen and bath products within the showroom environment.
- Work with designers, architects, builders, plumbers, and contractors to support customer purchases and ongoing business relationships.
- Identify customer needs and recommend complementary or related products to drive additional sales.
- Proactively seek opportunities to develop new customer relationships and introduce products and services that align with customer requirements.
- Continuously build and maintain detailed knowledge of showroom products, manufacturers, and offerings
- Determine product pricing in accordance with company procedures and respond to customer questions regarding availability and lead times.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists, structures, and internal sales information.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and differences to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Stay current on new product introductions, pricing updates, and discontinued items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment to support sales efforts.
- Ensure showroom catalogs and reference materials are accurate and up to date.
- Apply active listening skills to effectively understand customer requests and recommend appropriate products.
- Meet established sales goals and consistently work toward exceeding performance expectations.
- Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:Experience, Education & Skills:
- Experience selling kitchen or bath products, plumbing fixtures, or related materials in a showroom, design center, or home improvement retail environment preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with homeowners and trade professionals.
- Familiarity with kitchen and bath products, manufacturers, and current industry trends
- Proven ability to work toward sales goals while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.
- High school diploma required, Associate degree in or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
