This role sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and advanced manufacturing for high-tech semiconductor and materials engineering solutions. You will be responsible for managing critical supplier relationships in the chemical delivery domain, ensuring strong performance across cost, quality, and delivery. The position plays a key role in securing the continuity and competitiveness of complex supply chains that support next-generation chip manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and global stakeholders to qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize sourcing strategies. The environment is highly technical, global, and performance-driven, requiring strong analytical and commercial capabilities. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly influence supply chain resilience and innovation in advanced technology manufacturing.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute category and commodity strategies for chemical delivery components such as gas kits, panels, manifolds, flow controllers, valves, regulators, and related systems
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure alignment with business and operational objectives
  • Monitor and track supplier performance across key KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and lead times
  • Identify and onboard alternate suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity
  • Lead supplier qualification processes, including technical assessments, raw material evaluations, and compliance with industry standards (ASME, ASTM, SEMI, ISO, etc.)
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts to ensure favorable and structured supplier partnerships
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and materials while meeting cost and specification requirements
  • Act as the escalation point for supplier-related issues and drive timely resolution
  • Analyze market trends and supplier benchmarks to identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Support resolution of systemic supply chain challenges impacting performance and delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain roles
  • Strong experience in procurement of chemical delivery or similar technical equipment
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale supplier negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments with cross-cultural collaboration
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Power BI (SAP Ariba is a plus)
  • Ability to manage remote collaboration and work across global time zones
  • Willingness to travel up to 20–35% internationally (Asia, USA, etc.)
  • Valid passport and driving license required
