About the Role:
The Compliance Supervisor supports the Medical Staff Division by ensuring physicians meet all documentation, education, and regulatory compliance requirements across multiple partner facilities and clinical systems. This role oversees compliance workflows for medical record compliance, collaborates with credentialing and licensing teams for CME maintenance, and provides physician support while working closely with internal leadership, clinical partners, and external facility contacts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical Documentation & Deficiency Resolution
· Oversee the tracking of medical record deficiencies and administrative suspensions, ensuring timely data entry
· Notify practitioners and assist with resolution.
· Submit and track IT tickets related to documentation and access issues.
· Communicate with partner facilities to resolve documentation or access barriers.
· Escalate unresolved or high-risk compliance issues appropriately.
Key Responsibilities – CME Monitoring & Compliance
• Monitor TeleSpecialists required specialty-specific CME including stroke, medicolegal, and radiology CMEs. • Monitor expiration dates for NIHSS and other required certifications.
• Maintain CME data monitoring and dashboards within Salesforce.
• Generate and distribute TeleSpecialists required CME compliance reports.
• Assemble TeleSpecialists required CME documentation for audits and required meetings.
• Monitor physician enrollment and progress in CME platforms including but not limited to NetCE and StatPearls.
Licensure & Credentialing Collaboration
• Provide TeleSpecialists required CME compliance documentation for credentialing reappointment reviews.
• Collaborates with the Credentialing Team to monitor and ensure completion of mandatory education assignments from partner facilities.
• Assist with physician communication for escalation of compliance issues with licensing or credentialing needs, such as state license CMEs.
Physician & Stakeholder Support
• Serve as a primary contact for physicians requiring compliance assistance.
• Provide guidance to clinicians navigating CME systems.
• Participate in compliance, escalation, and operations meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to maintain compliance continuity.
Qualifications
• Experience in medical staff services, healthcare compliance, credentialing, or HIM preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and CME platforms preferred.
• Strong MS Office, Salesforce, and document management skills preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
• Minimum two years related experience.

Supervision
• The Compliance Supervisor of the Medical Staff Division reports to the Manager of Medical Staff Division.
Physical Requirements
• Sitting at a desk and working on a computer >75% of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
