Senior Maintenance Manager

Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salary

Reports to: Site Director

Supervisory Responsibility: Maintenance Organization for all manufacturing locations

Location: Jacksonville, FL or Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance strategy for all Stellar Energy manufacturing locations to include both facilities and production maintenance activities
  • Responsible for the development and execution of proper maintenance standards for each piece of equipment utilized within the facility
  • Responsible for overseeing all maintenance management personnel and providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to ensure company goals for equipment uptime goals are met
  • Engage with the manufacturing engineering team on all new equipment selection and implementation processes to ensure maintenance standards are created as part of the integration process
  • Ensure proper stock of critical spares for manufacturing equipment and proper utilization of inventory tracking
  • Ensure all equipment is documented and tracked with in the company CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Establish and track KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, MTBF, etc.

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing/office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will regularly be out on the manufacturing floor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require occasional weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Reliability, and/or a similar field or a combination of experience and education.
  • 5- 7years of experience in related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Understanding of TPM/RCM/CBM, IR, Ultrasound etc.
  • Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or other regulatory compliance standards.
