This role is responsible for managing the full relocation process for customers, providing a seamless and supportive experience from initial contact through post-delivery follow-up. The Seasonal Move Coordinator works closely with internal teams and transportation partners to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any service issues efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers under time-sensitive conditions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, proactively identifying challenges and ensuring high satisfaction levels. By monitoring shipment progress, coordinating logistics, and handling customer concerns, this role plays a key part in both operational success and long-term customer relationships. The position combines analytical thinking with hands-on service delivery in a collaborative, professional setting.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end relocation process for customers, maintaining contact from start to finish.

  • Reach and maintain high completion rates for customer touchpoints, including post-delivery follow-ups.

  • Communicate proactively regarding shipment milestones, delays, and schedule changes to avoid inconvenience.

  • Monitor distressed shipments and provide timely updates to customers.

  • Schedule warehouse pick-ups, manage documentation, and coordinate with transportation service providers.

  • Handle customer complaints independently using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

  • Conduct internal quality checks post-delivery and implement recovery actions to improve satisfaction.

  • Document all interactions in proprietary systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum three years’ experience in a customer service-focused role.

  • Experience in moving or logistics operations is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; typing speed of 40 WPM or higher.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to varying customer needs and stress levels.

  • Ability to multitask, enter data while conducting phone conversations, and use multiple software applications simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of reporting, shipment documentation, weight allowances, and Department of Defense regulations is preferred.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recover from setbacks and follow company procedures.
