About This Position
JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for assisting the Director of Attaché Services in the recognition of all Trump guests visiting the hotel, and for informing all hotel departments of the guests’ arrivals, special needs and requests, and personal preferences. Responsible for maintaining guest history database in Visual I and producing the Attaché Daily Report.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: College degree is preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year luxury hotel experience – Front Desk, Reservations or Guest Relations
SKILLS:
Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual One and other pertinent computer systems
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests and colleagues in writing, by telephone, and in person.
PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to input and access data in computer; basic typing skills
Ability to focus, and follow-through on details
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests
Ability to use time efficiently; to prioritize and organize work
Ability to maintain company standards and policies
Ability to maintain knowledge of hotel features and information, i.e., services, hours of operation, etc.
Ability to understand and respond appropriately to guest inquiries and needs while remaining calm and courteous
Ability to promote positive relationships with guests, particularly over the phone
Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and enhance teamwork
Flexibility with work schedule, able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Contact guests in advance, gather preferences, capture the data in the guest profile and coordinate pre-arrival requests with appropriate departments
Review the Guest Arrivals daily, decide which information are relevant and edit guest history accordingly
Meet and greet VIPs and limousine arrivals at curb side.
Monitor Repeat Guests and provide recognition/gifts according to the RG Gift Program
Continually maintain guest files in Visual I; add preference, comment cards, amenities, special needs information appropriately in the system(s), delete stay-specific and unusable data, merge duplicate records, etc.
Coordinate guests’ needs, requests, and personal preferences. Ensure proper recognition and preference delivery for all repeat guests.
Use discretion when inputting guest incidents & comments. Must be objective. No negative comments
Energize the Guest Recognition process in daily contact with other departments.
Assist in the implementation of Guest Recognition awareness programs.
Recognize opportunities to provide Trump Experience
Provide back up for Director of Attaché Duties, i.e., attendance at Operations Meeting, Resume Meeting, departmental line-ups, welcoming and escorting VIPs, etc.
Communicate system errors to TCH IT Support.
Share information with the Trump Hotel Collection in order to provide seamless service to Trump guests wherever they may be staying at
Perform other assigned duties related to Attaché program as delegated by the Director of Attaché
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT:

Maintains a professional and positive attitude in dealing with guests and associates at all times
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily functions within the department to ensure efficient and timely guest satisfaction
