This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Product Management, Data in Bulgaria.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the strategy, vision, and delivery of a data product organization in a high-growth enterprise software environment. You will oversee data platforms, analytics, and reporting products that serve both internal stakeholders and external customers, driving business insights and enabling AI-powered decision-making. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on product leadership, managing a team of product managers while collaborating closely with engineering, analytics, and executive leadership. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to translate complex data ecosystems into scalable products, influence cross-functional teams, and define monetization pathways for emerging data capabilities. You will work in a fully remote, asynchronous environment that values autonomy, clarity, and high impact. This is a senior-level opportunity to lead data innovation that drives measurable business and customer outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, including analytics and reporting platforms that provide insights into operational and customer performance.

  • Lead and develop a team of product managers, establishing clear priorities, coaching for growth, and creating an effective operating cadence in a remote environment.

  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to align technical investments with product strategy, system architecture, and business impact.

  • Deliver customer-facing analytics products, such as dashboards for efficiency, metrics tracking, value stream analysis, and security insights.

  • Define and execute monetization strategies for data products, identifying target cohorts, packaging, and value propositions to generate new revenue streams.

  • Lead 0-to-1 product initiatives, including advanced data capabilities that connect internal and external datasets to power analytics and AI solutions.

  • Ensure internal data platforms support organizational reporting and decision-making by standardizing metrics, data quality, and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience leading product management for data platforms and enterprise SaaS products.

  • Proven track record of taking data products from concept (0) to scalable offerings (1), including vision setting, customer validation, and initial delivery.

  • Strong systems thinking and ability to operate across complex data ecosystems, including data modeling, platform instrumentation, and AI/analytics integration.

  • Experience developing monetization strategies for complex data products and driving new revenue streams.

  • Director-level leadership experience, managing and mentoring product managers and fostering high-performing teams.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with engineering, analytics, and executive leadership.

  • Excellent executive-level communication skills, able to articulate strategy, impact, and decisions clearly.

  • Comfortable working autonomously and asynchronously in a fully remote environment, with strong written communication and measurable goal-setting.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with equity compensation opportunities.

  • Flexible paid time off and parental leave policies to support work-life balance.

  • Fully remote, asynchronous work environment allowing flexibility in location and schedule.

  • Growth and development fund to support learning and professional development.

  • Access to team member resource groups and a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.

  • Home office support to ensure productive work conditions.

  • Opportunity to shape innovative data products that influence customer outcomes and drive revenue growth.
