PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Grounds upkeep including mowing of the property, mulching, tree pruning and light tractor work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grass cutting and upkeep of grounds
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance needs including the use of applicable and necessary equipment
• Perform other duties specified by the Facilities Supervisor, Director of Support Services, or CEO
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in running and operating zero turn lawn mowers and small tractor
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and a good driving record
• Positive safety record
• Must demonstrate sensitivity to Elk Hill’s service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good general health with ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a times
• Must be able to traverse property and access and navigate all areas of the facilities
• Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and in various outdoor and indoor conditions
