Plumber I Join Our Team as a Plumber I

Ready to launch your career in the skilled trades with real hands-on experience on commercial projects? At Modigent companies, we install, maintain, and repair essential plumbing systems that keep commercial buildings, offices, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities running smoothly and safely. We're looking for eager, reliable beginners to join our teams, learn from experienced pros, and build a foundation in commercial plumbing.

Why Join Us?

  • Commitment to Excellence — We prioritize safety, code compliance, and quality workmanship—systems are installed right the first time for reliable performance.
  • Customer-Focused Culture — Precise scheduling, on-time delivery, follow-ups, and continuous improvement ensure top service for our clients.
  • Real Growth Potential — Start entry-level and advance your skills through training, mentorship, and opportunities in a supportive, dynamic environment.
  • Great Perks — Competitive pay and benefits, collaborative team culture, professional development, and a strong focus on work-life balance.
  • What You'll Do as a Plumber I:

This entry-level position is perfect for self-starters with little to no experience in plumbing. You'll work under close supervision while gaining practical skills in commercial plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, waste, gas piping, fixtures, and more). Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of plumbing piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial settings.
  • Helping repair and replace pipes, fittings, valves, drains, and fixtures (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters).
  • Carrying tools, materials, and equipment to support the team on job sites.
  • Performing general site clean-up to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Completing required paperwork, documentation, and basic reports to track work.
  • Actively learning plumbing codes, safety practices, materials, and commercial best practices to grow toward higher levels.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing things right.
  • Reliability, positive attitude, high energy, and a self-starter mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent bending/lifting, standing/walking on uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climbing ladders.
  • No prior plumbing experience required (1–3 years in construction, labor, or related fields preferred but not mandatory)—we'll provide training for the right person!
  • Enthusiasm to learn commercial plumbing systems and eagerness to grow.
  • If you're excited to roll up your sleeves, learn the trade from the ground up, and contribute to essential systems in commercial projects, we want you on our team! Apply today and take the first step toward a rewarding career in plumbing with Modigent.

Modigent companies are equal opportunity employers. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
