What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

  • Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
  • Prepare a receiving report if none is available.
  • Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items and appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Stock products and materials on shelves, racks or other designated storage areas.
  • Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system and print back order and inventory stock put away list.
  • Attach identifying tag or labels to materials and/or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers.
  • Prepare shipping documentation.
  • Review all orders to determine if items were picked correctly.
  • Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
  • Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as necessary.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of warehouse and distribution experience including use of commercial or industrial equipment.
  • Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
  • Able to work well and coordinate with others.
  • Ability to read, write and exhibit strong basic math skills.

  • Ability to work in a deadline drive, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to operate material moving equipment such as a forklift, riding pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and picking carts.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Essential Job Functions:

  • Lifting/Carrying: Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull products, parts, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or mechanical handling equipment.
  • Standing/Walking: Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse on concrete floors during the work shift.
  • Climbing/Balance: Occasional climbing onto equipment; ability to maintain balance while moving materials on elevated platforms or racking systems.
  • Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching: Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to retrieve, stock, or handle products at floor and low-level shelving.
  • Reaching/Handling: Frequent reaching overhead, forward, and to the side; regular grasping and handling of materials, boxes, tools, and warehouse equipment.
  • Vision: Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to read labels, scan barcodes, and safely operate equipment.
  • Hearing/Speaking: Ability to hear instructions, safety signals, and warehouse equipment alarms; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in a noisy environment.
  • Environmental Conditions: Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
  • PPE Use: Required to wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, gloves, high-visibility vest, equipment safety harness) for extended periods.
