Paramedic - Per Diem

• Open to traveling and floating between locations
• Starting and performing IV's on patients
• Assisting with any office procedures.
• Rooming patients, vitals, collecting history, medication reconciliations, injections, blood draws, etc.
• Prepare charts, prescription refills, follow-up phone calls with patients for information and results
• Only on an as-needed basis, accompanying the physician in the exam room in order to document each patient’s interaction with the doctor using Electronic Health Record (EMR, EHR)
• Maintain effective communication with patients, providers, and fellow office staff
• Work efficiently with providers, medical assistants and front desk associates within the practice

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and practices
• Athena Experience is a plus
• Completion/Certificate of paramedic program
• Computer Literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to new situations
• Strong customer service skills
• Minimum 2 yrs, of work experience
• An understanding of general medical office procedures
• Compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines
• Prior Medical Scribe experience is a plus but not required
