Then we have a spot for you at our Family Medicine Health Clinic (Dallas). As part of our CARES-giver team, you will help expand our impact on the community by providing access to high quality, compassionate care.
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:
- Perform routine check-ups, physical exams, and preventive care screenings
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to elderly adults
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions (e.g., infections, diabetes, hypertension)
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Prescribe medications andmonitorpatient responses to treatment
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging, EKGs)
- Provide immunizations and preventive health services
- Manage chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease, and obesity
- Offer health education and counseling on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Respond to patient concerns, follow-ups, and urgent care needsin a timely manner
- Participate in continuous medical education and stay current with medical guidelines and best practices
- Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas
- Share yourexpertiseand best practices to help us become the provider of choice
What you need to succeed
To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine with a valid state medical license
- DEA certification (for prescribing medications)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a family medicine practice
- Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
- Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred
- Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
- MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word,PowerPointand Excel)
- Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
