This role is a strategic leader in redefining how content is created, structured, and delivered across enterprise digital platforms. The Director, Content Strategy will lead transformative initiatives to implement AI-driven, modular content ecosystems that enhance user experience and maintain brand consistency at scale. You will oversee large, complex client accounts while driving innovation in content modeling, metadata management, and automated content production. This position requires a mix of creative vision, technical expertise, and business acumen to set new standards for content strategy in an AI-enabled world. You will mentor and manage a team of strategists, partner with internal and client stakeholders, and ensure measurable outcomes across multi-channel content initiatives. Accountabilities:
  • Lead AI-enabled content strategy initiatives for enterprise-scale digital transformations, defining new approaches for modular content systems
  • Develop and oversee cross-channel content ecosystems, including governance, quality evaluation, migration, and automated production pipelines
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AI-driven content models, semantic structuring, and metadata schemas to ensure precision and brand consistency
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and client stakeholders, translating complex content systems into clear business value
  • Manage and mentor a team of content strategists while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Scope and define content workstreams, budgets, and timelines for large-scale, high-impact projects ($500k+)
  • Drive measurable results through content optimization, quality assurance, and alignment with strategic business goals

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in content strategy, experience design, or digital transformation for B2B or enterprise clients
  • Deep understanding of AI in content workflows, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), semantic chunking, and metadata management
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale content governance, migration, auditing, and transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in content modeling, taxonomy, and CMS platforms such as Adobe AEM
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate and influence across executive and matrixed teams
  • Ability to balance creative vision with operational rigor, driving integrated content strategies and results
  • Excellent collaboration, delegation, and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and SEOs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
