Job SummaryThe Facility & Grounds Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of ADAboy’s production facility, surrounding grounds, and common areas. This role supports a safe and efficient work environment by performing routine cleaning, organization, and light maintenance tasks throughout the plant and property.
Key Responsibilities• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, workstations, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Collect and dispose of trash, scrap materials, packaging, and recyclables from shop areas.
• Keep exterior areas clean including entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and building surroundings.
• Assist with organizing tools, materials, and shop equipment to maintain orderly workspaces.
• Support production teams by helping keep workstations clean and free of debris.
• Monitor and restock facility supplies such as paper products, cleaning materials, and shop consumables.
• Assist with light facility upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs or helping with minor repairs when needed.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance including general cleanup of outdoor areas.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall facility and shop operations.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, facility maintenance, or similar work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized while managing daily tasks.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Comfortable working in a shop or production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with noise, dust, and equipment.

• Follow all shop safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and according to instructions.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
