About This Position
About the Role:
As an Aesthetician, you will play a vital role in enhancing clients' skin health and overall appearance through expert skincare treatments and personalized beauty services. Your work will involve assessing individual skin types and conditions to recommend and perform appropriate treatments such as chemical peels, acne therapy, and hair removal techniques. You will contribute to clients' confidence and well-being by applying makeup and advising on skincare products tailored to their unique needs. Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment is essential to ensure client comfort and satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved esthetician training program.
- Valid esthetician license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
- Demonstrated experience in performing skincare treatments and hair removal services.
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin care products, and cosmetic application techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in advanced chemical peel techniques or specialized acne treatment.
- Experience with hair cutting and styling as an additional service offering.
- Training in makeup artistry with a portfolio of work.
- Familiarity with retail sales of skincare and cosmetic products.
- Continuing education in the latest aesthetic technologies and trends.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough skin analyses to determine clients' skin types and conditions.
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, acne treatments, and hair removal services such as Brazilian waxing.
- Apply makeup professionally for clients, enhancing their natural features for special occasions or everyday looks.
- Advise clients on appropriate skincare products and routines to maintain and improve skin health.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare techniques, products, and industry trends to provide the best service possible.
- Manage client appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure a high level of customer service throughout each visit.
