This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Director, Global Payments Network Infrastructure in United States.
This is a senior product leadership role responsible for defining and driving the strategy behind a global money movement and payments infrastructure platform powering international transactions at massive scale. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, financial partnerships, and operations, with ownership of critical systems enabling global treasury, payouts, FX, and account-based financial flows. The Product Director will shape the roadmap for next-generation payment rails, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency across markets. This is a highly strategic and technical leadership position, requiring deep expertise in payments infrastructure and the ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders. The role also involves managing and mentoring a team of Product Managers while driving innovation in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where speed, precision, and global thinking are essential.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for global money movement infrastructure, including strategy, roadmap definition, partner evaluation, solution design, and execution.
- Define and evolve the payments infrastructure strategy across collections, payouts, FX, wallets, and settlement systems at global scale.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with financial institutions, payment networks, and ecosystem providers to expand global coverage and capabilities.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers, ensuring strong execution across payments, settlements, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, commercial, and financial partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performance payment systems.
- Leverage AI/ML-driven insights to optimize routing, reduce transaction costs, improve fraud detection, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into clear product strategy and prioritization decisions.
- Drive rapid iteration cycles across product launches and enhancements to continuously improve reliability, speed, and customer experience.
- Act as a subject matter expert for global money movement infrastructure across internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in Product Management or Engineering, ideally within platform, infrastructure, or financial technology domains.
- 3+ years of people management experience leading cross-functional or product teams.
- Strong track record of building and scaling global products from ideation through delivery.
- Deep understanding of payment systems, money movement infrastructure, or related financial workflows such as ledgers, orchestration, or settlement systems.
- Experience working with card networks, payment rails, or global financial infrastructure strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to solve complex, multi-variable problems.
- Ability to balance long-term product vision with short-term execution and growth priorities.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and regulatory considerations in fintech is a plus.
- Experience in hyper-growth startups or global-scale fintech environments strongly preferred.
