This role is a high-impact security leadership position focused on protecting and advancing corporate security capabilities within a fast-growing, global technology environment.
You will lead a security engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable security controls across internal corporate systems.
The role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership, ensuring identity, access management, data security, and SaaS environments remain secure and efficient.
You will collaborate closely with IT, security leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to align security initiatives with business priorities.
Beyond team management, you will actively contribute to engineering work, shaping architecture, automation, and security tooling.
This position offers strong visibility and influence in evolving enterprise security practices while working in a modern, cloud-first ecosystem.
- Lead, coach, and develop a security engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Own delivery and prioritization of security engineering initiatives across corporate systems using agile methodologies.
- Design, implement, and operate security controls and tooling at scale across identity, SaaS platforms, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Drive improvement of security architecture, automation, and tooling to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Define and execute strategies for corporate security capabilities, including IAM, data security, and configuration management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business needs and risk reduction objectives.
- Support incident response efforts as a technical leader, ensuring effective coordination and resolution.
- Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure security program effectiveness and guide investment decisions.
- Promote security awareness, best practices, and training across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to evolve security strategy.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in security engineering or related technical roles.
- 3+ years of experience managing security engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in designing and operating security controls at scale in cloud environments.
- Deep experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Strong background in identity and access management, endpoint security, and SaaS security.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Software development experience in modern languages such as Python or Go.
- Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable, efficient security solutions.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
