Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our Broken Arrow location. Hours are 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 3:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. with occasional over time. Our facility is located at 800 East Dallas Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.81-24.54 per hour with occasional overtime available. Shift differential of $0.75 per hour.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Wash parts using a 5-stage phosphate washer or cabinet washer

  • Grind and deburr parts using pneumatic tools
  • Prepare parts for storage or shipment using rust preventative
  • Use cabinet sand blaster to prepare parts for internal out outside processing
  • Determine packaging process for transportation
  • Operate a deburr and chamfer machine to prepare for heat treat
  • Palletize part for next stage in process
  • Participate improvements to enhance productivity product quality
  • Ensure the proper handling and disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • And other duties as assigned

Desired Skills:

Ability to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and procedures.

  • Ability to use pneumatic tools for removal of burrs to meet production requirements.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Be able to recognize obvious irregularities in form, fit or function
  • Must be able to operate the vibratory and sand blast machines.
  • Experience using production management system
  • Must be able to use material handling equipment to pull and position parts and materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work around chemicals such as solvents, soaps and phosphates.
  • Ability to lift 53 pounds less than 33% of the time
  • Push and pull a maximum 75 pounds peak force
  • Stand and walk on cement floor 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Repeated bending up to 90% of the time, squatting and kneeling on one or both knees
  • Bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head
  • Good manual dexterity with both hands
  • Hear and understand verbal instructions
  • Good hand and foot coordination
  • Safely operate machinery with moving and/or cutting edges
  • Wear any safety equipment as may be required

  • Arrowhead Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employee is working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Must be able to work around chemicals such as solvents, soaps and phosphate; ability to lift 60 pounds and operate vibratory equipment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head.
