Part Time - Parts Finishing/Shipping & Receiving at J Baur Machining – Mars, Pennsylvania

Perfect position for a Retiree or Student looking to fill some time in your day!

Who Are We Looking For:
We are looking for a full time and/or part-time Parts Finishing/Packaging person to help us get orders out the door faster. This position is flexible and you can work as much or as little as you want. We can work around your schedule during our business hours of Monday thru Thursday, 6AM - 4:30pm and Friday 6AM-2:30PM. Maybe you want 5 short days or 2 long days, we can make it work. This is also a great opportunity for any college/trade school student in the process of earning their machining trade certificate. What Your Day May Look Like:

• Prepare finished product for shipment for LTL truck, UPS, and FedEx. Count and neatly place in shipping boxes.
• Secure product on pallets by stretch wrap.
• Operate vibratory finishing equipment and use various types of deburring tools and grinding equipment including scrapers, dremels, scotch brite, and other hand tools to remove burrs.
• Complete routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Tidy the shop and perform custodial tasks when needed

The Perfect Candidate:

• Must be 18 or older and the ability to stand for periods of time.
• Ability to use and operate hand or power tools and finishing tools.
• Team Player with a great attitude that can work well with others and be able to take correction. We are a small company that strives for a pleasant work environment for all.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
