(NON-CDL) SITE SERVICES LEAD YARD TECHNICIAN - AUSTIN at Texas Disposal Systems – Creedmoor, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

The Site Services Lead Technician directs the Yard Technicians, manages inventory and maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the Site Services yard.

CORE RESPONSIBILIITES

1. Report for work at the designated time, in company uniform, and with the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
2. Direct the work of Yard Technicians.
3. Manage asset inventory.
4. Ensure rolloff and frontload trucks are emptied in a timely manner.
5. Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the Site Services yard.
6. Wash and disinfect portable toilets, showers or comfort stations, depending on assignment.
7. Work as a unit attendant at events.
8. Organize repair lists and submits them to the supervisor or special events lead.
9. Perform minor repair work on portable units, including removing and replacing signage.
10. Maintain a clean work area.
11. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least six months of experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• At least one year of customer service, logistics, event management, transportation or other related experience
• Written and verbal communication skills in English sufficient to converse with the general public
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to work flexible hours based on route and event schedules
• Proof of up-to-date Hepatitis B vaccination or willingness to get one
• Ability to be forklift certified within two weeks of hire
• Must be available for scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATION

• Valid Class C driver’s license
• Safe driving record for the past three years
