Job Summary

• “Provide subject-matter expertise in the design, development, integration, and implementation of software applications, e.g., SalesForce/systems/projects for healthcare services. Participate in the design, development, and customization of software to handle and manage information exchange for healthcare services providers with the objectives of automating processes, making them more efficient, enhancing quality patient care delivery, reducing costs, and complying with regulatory, legal, and ethical mandates of the healthcare industry. Discuss requirements with healthcare services providers and perform business analysis; analyze current processes; perform gap analysis; solve problem in the healthcare environment and define project scope; develop, map, and document business process flow; create methods to manage patient information; design databases; develop and maintain databases and data systems; integrate software/systems with existing enterprise applications; create and maintain user access restrictions; build architectural plan to ensure data is safe and secure after implementation of software applications and tools; administer and protect patient and hospital data; write test scenarios and develop test cases; perform user acceptance testing and application testing to ensure healthcare processes as designed function accordingly; train users on the designed enterprise healthcare application/system; perform system maintenance and upgrade; summarize, extract, manipulate, analyze, and present data using software products; determine feasibility of changes; and execute changes as appropriate. Provides leadership, training and mentoring to the assigned team.”

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or related field of study, or foreign equivalent

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours 2 weeks
