Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facility Coordinator in Richmond, VA. As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facility. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth functioning of our operations and the safety of our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in projects related to the effective and efficient operation of the agency
- Process facility requests (including gathering of information necessary for the processing and completion of requests).
- Follows and applies facilities and emergency management operations standards
- Provide customer service and maintains user appraised of progress as it relates to projects and facilities requests
- Track and monitor completion of facility requests
- Interact with CSB department staff, corporate partners, landlords, and vendors to coordinate facility related service requests.
- Perform administrative duties for the Facilities and Emergency Management team, and supports ad hoc facilities projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience assisting or supporting a facilities management work group
- At least 3+ years of customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team effectively
- Experienced with MS Office (including MS Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role
