Job Description
The Medical Lab Tech performs laboratory testing in any of the various sections of the laboratory, performs control testing and initiates troubleshooting steps for problem areas. The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.
Education/License/Certification/Experience Requirements:
• Assoicate degree in MLT, or chemical, physical or biological science with clinical training in a school approved by ASCP.
• Registered by ASCP.
