About This Position
We are excited to announce an opening for a Director, Clinical Operations for our Osceola/Polk Region! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of IMA Medical Group’s medical clinics. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality patient care, and smooth coordination across clinical and administrative functions. The Director of Operations will lead a team of Office Managers, develop operational processes, ensure alignment with organizational KPIs, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Operations and other leadership to drive improvements, maintain standards of excellence, provide feedback on challenges to success, and contribute to the organization’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of IMA Medical Group’s medical offices and clinics, ensuring optimal performance in patient care, office workflows, and administrative processes. Ensure that all offices are staffed appropriately and operating efficiently within budgeted guidelines.
- Supervise, support, and develop a team of Office Managers, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure a high standard of operations across all locations. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all medical offices adhere to healthcare laws, regulations, and IMA Medical Group’s internal policies. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
- Work closely with the clinical leadership team to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and with the highest standards of quality. Develop and implement patient satisfaction initiatives and ensure that patient feedback is collected, reviewed, and acted upon.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels at all medical offices. Collaborate with HR and the recruiting team to hire, onboard, and train new employees. Develop and implement staffing plans to accommodate changes in patient volume, business growth, and other factors.
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Operations, clinical leadership, and other departments to ensure that operational activities align with overall business goals and strategies.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to office operations, including patient wait times, employee productivity, medication inventory, supply and medication outdates, and patient satisfaction.
- Evaluates regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and provides improvement ideas and recommendations to the Senior Director of Operations.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field;
- At least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred
- Athena EMR experience (preferred)
